Technology
We're engineers first.
Most agencies operate other people's software. We write our own. The website you are reading, the pixel that tracks it, and the measurement system behind every client dashboard were all built in-house — and that changes what we can promise you.
What SingRank builds in-house
SingRank builds and runs its own stack: this Next.js website (one codebase, three regional builds on Cloudflare Pages), a first-party tracking pixel that logs AI crawlers such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot, Python data-mining pipelines classified by a local LLM, and a measurement backend of 54 tools reading Search Console data daily (audited August 2026).
The stack we work in
Next.js & modern web. This site is a Next.js static export served on Cloudflare Pages — one codebase producing three regional sites (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia) with edge functions for leads and content. Fast because it is engineered to be, not because a plugin promised it.
Python data pipelines. Our demand-mining pipeline crawls public sources politely — it reads robots.txt, honours crawl delays, and stores everything in a queryable database. Its output feeds the content plans our clients publish.
Local LLMs & RAG. The classification step of our mining pipeline runs on a local LLM — no scraped text ever leaves our machine. The SingRank System backend combines retrieval-augmented generation with AI models to read a site's traffic, niche and competitive position from first-party data.
Shopify, Wix & platform APIs. Client fixes ship as code: Liquid theme work, structured data injection, metafield updates and platform API calls — implemented, not just recommended in a slide.
Systems we built and run daily
- SingRank System — The 54-tool measurement backend behind every client dashboard — rankings, content performance, AI visibility, lead attribution and anomaly detection, regenerated on schedules from every 3 hours to weekly. Backend live, interface in progress.
- SingRank Pixel — A first-party tracking pixel with a trick most analytics miss: AI crawlers do not run JavaScript, so ours includes a no-JS component that still logs them. It also detects human visitors arriving from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot, and captures WhatsApp clicks and form submits.
- Daily content pipeline — Articles researched, written, quality-checked and published on a daily cadence — each run logged with word counts, live-URL checks, internal links and search-engine pings. July 2026 alone has seventeen dated run logs.
- Demand-mining radar — A Python pipeline that reads public forums and search results to map what buyers in a niche actually complain about and ask for — classified locally, ranked, and turned into content plans.
AI, used the way engineers use it
We use AI where it is strong — research, classification, drafts, data extraction — and keep humans where judgement lives: strategy, accuracy, and what ships under a client's name.
We run models locally when privacy demands it, retrieval-augmented systems when answers must come from real data, and we log what AI systems do to our sites instead of guessing. That is also why our GEO work is measured, not theatrical.
Common questions
Why does an SEO agency need engineers?
Because modern search is an engineering problem. AI crawlers that don't run JavaScript, structured data, Core Web Vitals, log analysis, measurement pipelines — an agency that can't read and write code can only guess at all of it. SingRank's founder trained in software engineering before digital marketing, and the team has built software since 2010.
Do you use AI to write content?
We use AI for research, structure and drafts — then humans decide strategy, check facts and edit what ships. Every article on this site names its human author, and our editorial policy page explains how corrections work.
What exactly is the SingRank System?
The measurement backend behind every client dashboard: 54 tools reading first-party data — Search Console, behaviour analytics, crawler logs, lead attribution — regenerated on schedules from every 3 hours to weekly. The backend is live; the client-facing interface is in progress at app.singrank.com.
Can you build custom software for my business?
Yes — custom tools, dashboards, automations and AI assistants, from S$1,000 per project. The same team that builds our internal systems builds client work. See the Custom Software service page for scope and pricing.
Is my business data safe with all this tooling?
Everything runs on accounts you own — we set up, you keep the keys. Where we run AI classification over scraped research data, it runs on a local model on our own machine, so the text never leaves it. And we only measure your site with your consent, via the pixel you approve.
Why this matters to you
An agency that builds its own instruments cannot hide behind a tool's estimate. When we show you a number, we can show you the system that produced it — and when you need something that does not exist yet, we can build it.
